It is a privilege and an honor to serve the residents of The Palms of St. Lucie West. I believe my desire to serve seniors is a direct result of the nurturing and closeness I had with my grandparents.

I joined the team here at the Palms of St. Lucie West in February 2009. I have been an Assisted Living Executive Director for the past 11 years and received my Bachelors of Science Degree in Health Services Administration from the University of Central Florida. I reside in Vero Beach with my wife of 15 years, Lisa, and our four wonderful children. I enjoy reading, target shooting and spending time with my family.

Antoinette joined the Bell Senior Living Family in April 2008 as the Business Office Manager for The Palms of St. Lucie West. She is a native resident of Fort Pierce, Florida and graduated from the University of North Florida with a B.A. in Banking and Finance. Antoinette brings to the The Palms of St. Lucie West Team over 10 years of experience in customer service, management and accounting, all of which is complemented by a strong passion to touch the lives of others in a positive way.

Hi, my name is Denise Van Auken.  I am the Director of Memory Care at The Palms of St. Lucie West.  Originally from Syracuse New York, I have lived in Florida for the past 21 years. I have been in the health care field on and off for the last 27 years.  The health care field has always been my passion.  It is always such a reward to help others, especially the elderly; I have always felt that it was my true calling. I am very passionate about my Alzheimer’s residents, in their care and educating others about this disease. I hope that in the near future we will win the fight and find a cure for this devastating disease.

James is the Director of Maintenance at The Palms of St. Lucie West. He joined the Bell Senior Living Family in February 2008 and brings over 30 years experience as a Master Carpenter. James is a very compassionate individual and shows it in his interactions with the residents. He is married and has 5 adopted children and spends all of his free time with his family.
